Founded in Chicago in 1995 by Gregory E. Lehn and Thomas J. McNamara, LM Consultants, Inc. was built on a foundation of engineering expertise and a shared commitment to quality. With a professional partnership dating back to 1984, Greg and Tom brought decades of experience in property condition assessments and construction oversight to their new firm.

To meet growing client demand, Greg and Tom assembled a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and construction managers to take LM’s capabilities into new markets. What began as a Chicago partnership has evolved into a national, employee-owned firm trusted by industry leaders for reliable and consistent due diligence reporting.
